Distribute One GNSS Antenna Signal to Multiple Timing Systems
When multiple timing systems need access to the same GPS/GNSS antenna, installing a separate antenna for every receiver can add unnecessary complexity.
Masterclock GPS/GNSS splitters provide a practical way to distribute a single GPS/GNSS antenna signal to multiple receivers, allowing several timing devices to share a common satellite reference.
Available in 2-, 3-, 4-, 6- and 8-way configurations, the splitter range allows you to select the appropriate solution based on the number of timing devices in your installation.
The splitters support GPS L1-L5, GLONASS and Galileo signals and use a Wilkinson splitter design with one DC-pass path and DC-blocked output paths.
Why Use a GPS/GNSS Splitter?
A shared antenna configuration can be particularly useful when several timing systems are installed within the same facility.
Instead of installing multiple antennas, a single suitably positioned GNSS antenna can feed several receivers through a splitter.
