The Masterclock GMR6000 is a high-performance, multi-function master clock and time server designed for mission-critical timing and synchronization applications. It can operate as an NTP server, PTP grandmaster, time code generator, or precision frequency reference, providing accurate and reliable timing across critical infrastructure networks.
Designed for demanding environments including aviation, defense, telecommunications, utilities, data centers, broadcast, healthcare, and industrial infrastructure, the GMR6000 supports multiple timing references including GNSS, PTP, NTP, IRIG, SMPTE, PPS and 10 MHz. Its configurable architecture allows organizations to tailor timing inputs and outputs according to their specific synchronization requirements.
The GMR6000 provides advanced anti-jamming and anti-spoofing detection and mitigation, helping protect critical timing infrastructure against GNSS-related threats. It also incorporates an internal high-stability oscillator, with OCXO or Rubidium options, to maintain accurate time during loss of the primary reference signal. The Rubidium option provides holdover performance of approximately ±500 ns over 24 hours.
With three independently addressable isolated 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports, including two RJ45 ports and one SFP interface, the GMR6000 provides flexible network connectivity for NTP and PTP applications. It supports IEEE 1588 PTP, while its configurable Masterport outputs can provide signals such as IRIG, SMPTE, 1 PPS, 10 MHz, Genlock, Tri-Level Sync, Word Clock and programmable pulse/reference frequencies.
Built with redundant power options, intelligent reference switching, secure management features and a compact 1U rack-mount design, the GMR6000 is engineered to provide resilient timing for systems where synchronization accuracy and availability are critical.
Whether you are looking for a PTP Grandmaster, NTP server, GPS/GNSS master clock or precision frequency reference, the Masterclock GMR6000 provides a flexible and scalable timing platform for modern critical infrastructure.
