The Masterclock RC1000 Dual-Channel Production Timer is a professional timing solution designed for broadcast, live production, event management and control-room applications where multiple timing functions need to operate simultaneously.
The RC1000 provides two independent timing channels, allowing users to run two count-up or countdown timers at the same time. Each channel has a six-digit display capable of showing HH:MM:SS or MM:SS:FF, providing flexibility for conventional timing as well as frame-based production workflows.
Designed for professional production environments, the RC1000 supports SMPTE/EBU time code, IRIG-B, NTP and internal reference sources. It can also generate network count packets for compatible Masterclock NTDS displays and time code for compatible TCDS displays.
The RC1000 includes a numeric keypad for quick timer entry and supports programmable presets, making it well suited to complex production workflows where operators need fast and repeatable timing control.
When a single countdown timer is sufficient, the RC600 provides a straightforward and effective solution. For applications requiring two independent timers operating simultaneously, the RC1000 provides a more advanced production-oriented solution.
For example, one channel can display the overall programme time while the second channel manages a segment, break or event countdown.
